What can you do
in El Manso?
There are many
things you can do. Like horseback riding, take strolls and go trekking along
paths in the forest. In the forest there are animals like pumas, foxes and
rabbits, and the beauty of the places.
You have options of hiring a
guide to visit Rock Paintings (Piedra Pintada) and know about the history of
the valley .
The Rock Painting
were drawn by the natives. They used to live by hunting and they were nomads. The
Tehuelches lived in El Manso´s area one thousand years ago.
They ussualy drew
animals like for example:horses, guanacos, small dear.The images were painted
with some minerals, iron rust mixed with vegetables juices.
Signs in the wall
of rock.
There are some drawings of
sand clocks, (simbolises life and death), horses that are different to the
actual ones.They look like guanacos with a tail.
You can also see frets with crosses than look like
Christian in the middle.
El Manso is sensational.
