“Cabeza del Indio” in El Bolsón.
The valley of this town has a ridge that runs along it at the east called Loma del Medio, to the west there is the Quemquemtreu River. This River runs along a valley dedicated to agricultural production.
To arrive in Loma del Medio, you have to go along Azcuenaga Street to the west, and cross the bridge, you will find yourself in a residential place of typical small houses neighborhood.
There is a road, it can be transited by a car or on foot, arriving to the summit 6 KM     from the urban area, up there is a promontory.
From the promontory, it is possible to enjoy an incredible view of all the valley along the Azul River, up to Lake Puelo. You can also see the summit of Mounts Tres Picos, Motoco and Lindo.
You can reach the place by the traditional path, that goes along a cliff or by the alternative path that goes through the forest. The rocky formation bellow this panoramic view point, presents a conformation like the profile of an aborigine “Cabeza del Indio” we call it. It is formed by granite and flat stones 20 metres high naturally sculpted.
This site is used in occasions by descendants of aborigines who celebrate ceremonies there.
